I am a painter living in High Springs FL. From 1984 - 2004 I worked as a staff artist at the Florida Museum of Natural History at the University of Florida. My work on display there includes 5 large scale habitat murals, and graphic design in the Butterfly Rainforest and Pearsall Collection, as well as the museum logo.
"My Paintings are about light in simple rural landscapes. The geometry of roads, crops and fences help create the illusion of space, and the contrast between the changing sky and the short term "permanence" of the marked land intrigues me."
I am currently working as an independent artist and am on the art faculty at Santa Fe Community College. Most of my work is based on landscape themes.
